What is up with this deer?

He looks to have some kind of infection or mange maybe. I can't really tell if he is really old and going down hill or if this condition has him losing weight. All of the other bucks are fat and happy with no ribs showing. Anyone have a clue?

I agree, he looks like he shed his antlers. From what I see his weight looks fine to me...I could be wrong though.

Dropped his horns early. Any sign of stress/bad health and a deer will drop horns first

We have a few that have already dropped their antlers and look fine, this guy never picks his ears up passed where they are in the pics, it seems like it hurts him to do so.

No clue on a deer, but if it was a calf I would think infection are ticks in his ears.

Not that I am doubting what you say, but look again at his head above his ears, it looks like he has a bowl cut. I will see if I can find another pic or two of him.
