Can you use blue PEX in place of red PEX

            That gray pipe was called Quest, right? The problem was all the water ran luke warm because it was all one color, not red and blue.

                    Your right it makes it easier but white can be used for both . It’s not illegal are done wrong if you use just white. You can always write hot on one and cold on the other to know what is which are get red and white tape and put a strip of red on hot are strip of blue on the cold . We had to deal with it with copper. Because they dang sure don’t make red and blue colored copper. And when I ran copper under the 100s of houses I roughed in I would run all my cold waters first and then roll out all my hot waters. But if was going to pull white pex only down the wall I would mark with a marker which one was cold and hot .
