Need scope recommendations to help my dad see better

Try a Vortex Diamondback with the fast focus ring. I’ve have 3 eye surgeries in my dominant eye and the fast focus ring helps a huge amount.

If he does need eye surgery for cataracts 2 eye surgeons told me 90 days before shooting a shoulder fired weapon.

Take him to KeyWhitman and get his eyes fixed....I have had cataract surgery on both of mine with Crystal lens in one and Toric in the other, most of the expense Medicare will take care of. One at the time he will be able to hunt by Christmas.

I do not think a change in brand of scopes will do anything if he has eye problems, the easiest thing to do is turn the power down to a lower magnification and re focus the ocular end of the scope to re-define the reticle.

My dad leaves his on 4x all the time now and he gets along fine with it. I think his new glasses was causing a lot of it.
