Standing or sitting to shoot

From a tree stand, what is your preferred method of shooting?

Personally I prefer to be sitting when I shoot.

Maybe it’s because I feel safer, a little more steady, or something else, but I prefer to be sitting.

I do practice shooting while sitting, but now as much as I probably should.

What do you do?

Sitting. I practice sitting down. I don't have any stand up blinds...they all have seats

Yeah I shoot sitting, practicing and hunting.

No preference. Just depends on if I am sitting or standing b when they come in or what obstacles or side the shot is on. 90% of my shots are from lock-ons or ladder stands

Standing. The shakes from standing cancel out the shakes from deer fever. However I’ve been practicing shooting sitting down

Every deer I've killed has been while sitting. I'd much prefer to shoot standing though.

Either or, but I prefer sitting. Standing up with deer within bow range is a task.

Either. It all depends on the situation and what needs to be done to get the shot. I practice both.

I hunt out of a Tree Lounge.

With a bow I usually stand unless a deer sneaks in on me. I'm usually about 25' up. Try to stay below the canopy.

With a gun I lay. I try to get the stand almost parallel to the ground and 50'-60' up.
