Default Pocket piece

I find myself not carrying as much during the summer because I wear those Megellon Academy dry fit shorts. I would like to hear of yíallís beat pocket pistol. Front pocket

Ruger LCP 2 gets my vote.

That's compared to a LCP and DB9 and S&W airweight .38

I carry my wallet in my front pocket. Actually I have no room in of my pockets. But I carry in a smart carry " holster". I can carry in any thing I wear, trunks, sweats, jeans or dress pants. With or with out a belt.

Just to specify, the 2 (LCP II) is the preferred piece.

It has more of a striker fired trigger feel vs the DAO feel of the original LCP trigger.
The Original LCP trigger pull is heck for long, as bad as it is the DB 9 is longer.
You have to pull it ALL the way back before it goes bang.
Like index finger stabbing the base of your thumb then bang.

I second the smart carry...I wear athletic shorts 95% of the time and carry my glock 43x no problem

The g42 is a marvelous little weapon. I carried one for 4 years before passing it on to my wife. You can wear it on your hip or just throw it in your pocket and roll.

LCP for the pocket but since I don’t tuck in my shirt it’s just as easy to strap on my glock 27.

I try to carry my SigP365 daily and although Iím not a huge .380 fan I also have an LCP II thatís just too easy to throw in my front pocket for those days when Iím not wearing much laundry.
Itís smallÖvery very small!! Iím trying to get my wife and daughter to upgrade to the new Ruger LCP Max. 10+1 beats the hell out of 6+1 thatís for sure.

Did I mention that the LCP is SMALL?

Sig p238 if it has to be in the pocket. Or I wear a belt pouch and carry Glock 20 or full size 1911.Depends on how discreet it has to be. Here on the farm, and the occasional trip to the store, a belt pouch give excellent protection, allows more carry options, although not as fast to deploy.

I know itís not what you asked, but I wear those shorts a ton. Some have belt loops and some donít. I wear a belt either way, and still carry a G48 appendix carry comfortably without issue.

If you are using Buffalo Bore +P ammo be careful as not all pistols can handle the pressure and may not function properly due to the increased recoil. There is a big recoil difference between cheap S&B and Buffalo ammo. I sure wouldn't want to shoot +P thru some cheap polymer gun.
