Looking for an Axis doe hunt

I have a friend that's looking for an Axis doe hunt for one of his customers.

They're looking to shoot just two does. Would prefer to hunt somewhere in the hill country as soon as possible. No fancy lodge, just something simple and affordable.

Let me know what you got, Thanks!

Don't know if they still do hunts, but check T-4 Exotics

    God Bless

I got a feeling with the BIG snow\freeze kill those hunts are going to sky rocket in TX.

Honestly would think what animals survived would be used for rebreading.

There’s still plenty of Axis in Texas.

OP look at the sponsors list. There’s probably some that can help you out.

            Bump for ya.

That is encouraging. The many hunting pod cast I've listened to talk about some ranches losing them in the hundreds.

Yessir. That’s true. From what I’ve seen some day hunt ranches were hit hard. They were also overpopulated and overgrazed ranches that provided very little natural shelter for them to get out of the wind. Free ranging Axis and better managed ranches fared much better.

X2 our place in Kerr County lost 4-5 on almost 1000 acres. Only lost one big buck, one spike and a couple does.

H4 Ranch. We’ve had a great time both times we went.
