Hoping they will ease the travel restrictions. Talked to Bushmen Safaris last week, they are not sure when they will start to take clients.

Was scheduled to be there this past Sept 19th, but that got nixed. Will meet with my outfitter in Feb at the DSC show to see when he wants me to come, probably in Sept again hopefully.

^^^ this right here, for me too. Our flights are already booked and just hoping things get back to "normal" before then.

That's where we're scheduled to go in May.

Seems like flights with Delta are the way to go but there are not very many scheduled right now for my dates.
United Airlines has alot of flights going from Bush-IA to Newark-IA then direct you Johannesburg.
Anybody have reviews on using United to fly to Africa?

Those of you that I’ve already gotten their flights who are y’all using?

I'll probably be doing buff in 2021. Flew Emirates last time and was a good flight- just a little longer. I think the United flight is new unless you are missing a leg somewhere as Delta was the only American airline with non-stop to SA for a long time.

Will be at Limcroma Safaris May 1-10. Was scheduled for this year also but had to reschedule. Was able to move my flight to the new date . I am using Qatar Airlines from Dallas.

Looks like United airline is now flying direct from Newark ERW airport now also and Cheaper that Delta

Went in Feb 2020 before this broke wide open, flew Qatar air and saved some money. Little longer flight time but $715 RT Houston to J’borg.
