    Information Needed!

My grandmother used to shoot some competition archery back in the day. She passed away a little over a year ago and my granddad gave me all of her old "stuff" the other day and I wanted to post it on here to see if anyone could give me information, dates, values, etc. on this gear.

The bow has "Queen of Scot's bow" on it with some additional info.

    Any info is appreciated! Thanks!

    Google "George Birnie Bows".

Beautiful bow! It doesnt look like Grandma thought much of shooting all the same arrows.

Looks like that riser top has a built in cubby for a dope card. And the way that throat looks is built for a super high wrist.

Very cool. Thanks for sharing. Post some more pics please Brandon.

I agree with caughtandhobble. Go to www.stickbow.com. Commonly referred to as the Leather Wall. They have some guys on that site who are walking archery historians. I bet some of them can give you some good information. If you Grandmother was well known in archery circles, one of those guys may have known her or of her. There are also some trad guys from Europe on the site and they may have some insight as well. Very neat!
