Fishing this weekend

I want to take some young friends fishing this weekend freshwater or saltwater. I'm concerned with the recent rains that the bay may be fresh and the rivers might be muddy. Anyone have suggestions on where I could bank fish in or around Houston this weekend and have a reasonable chance of catching something?

Fresh water and current make the catfish bite better. Don't be afraid of the rain.
