Comfortable Snake boots

I see a lot of sites having sales on hunting items.
I thought I might look for a new pair of snake boots, preferably pull on or side zip.
Any recommendations?

I had a pair of the academy brand that were very comfortable. Now if they were truly snake proof is left unknown.

Danner Sharptails are the most comfortable out of box snake boots I’ve ever worn. Chips suck. We do a lot of stalking and I love the comfort of these plus there water proof.

I did also for quite sometime. 10 years and three pairs to be exact. Break in period was miserable. About the time you get them broke in good the sole comes detached from the boot. Don’t get me wrong there a good boot for driving around or sitting in a blind but if your going to doing a lot of walking I’d take comfort over popular name brands any day. Just try all brands on and check for yourself. Snake boots are like bows, just need to try them.

I know I’ll be against the mass here but I once tried some Chippewa’s and they did not fit me right at all. Got blisters and rubbed the back of my foot raw. It could have been a sizing issue.

That said, I love my Irish setter lace ups. The most comfortable boots I have. They’re going on 3 or 4 years now or heavy use and still going strong.

I am a big fan of Danner as well, even thought they won’t be waterproof for long.
