    Backyard backstops

So we got my son a new bow for Christmas and I am needing to set up a target backstop in the backyard. Show me what you all use.

I could do the stacked bay bales but that’s a mess and my arrows would get lost in it. I have seen some frames with horse stall mats and also some fabric like curtains.

    What actually works

Is that a single mat, or more than one?

Square nails after hay aren’t a mess, and arrows don’t get lost. Round bails, yes, arrows can get lost, but not square.

Single mat. I cut the mat from TSC in half to make two back stops.

I got one of those porch swing frames and make one with a stall mat. I sure am enjoying shooting from far away w confidence!

I welded up a metal frame and used self tappers to put a horse stall mat on in. Works well.
