been on current lease for close to 10 yrs. we picked up a "new guy" one year
i met him one afternoon and about 2 min into the conversation he pointed his finger at me at said "i will put my whitetail knowledge up against anyone in this camp" i just kinda smiled and was like "oh really? you should go tell the ranch manager that" he didnt make it thru the season.

I love the advise i'm getting, a lot of great advice.
It's just annoying, that what i have building for 5 years, is washed away in 1 hunting season..

OP, if he isn’t the lease boss then blow it off. Ain’t worth the space in your mind. Enjoy your hunting and have fun.

Leases are hard to get the right people that are all compatible and have the same vision on hunting, managing and contributing equally for the good of the herd. In your case sounds to me that you might just stay away from him. Don’t let him still your joy and ruin your investment. Things like this normally work their selve out. He’s probably a lease jumper.

It’s taken us several years but we’ve got the absolute best group of hunters ever.
