I started to explore SOTA, but I did not pursue. Something didn't seem right.
When I called, SOTA required that I schedule a telephone conference with a "Nutritionist", which came with a $25 charge. It seemed odd, but I went along.
During my call with the "Nutritionist", I was asked a few questions about my weight and my goals. There was no discussion of food or nutrition.
I quickly realized "Nutritionist" actually meant "Sales Person" when she hit me with the cost that was north of $5,000. There were no options...one size fits all...$5,000+.
I'm sure it works for most, but I was not ready to drop that kind of cash. And then I denied the $25 charge with my credit card company.

Just trying to help y'all not make a complicated maze out of losing weight. You CAN lose weight on your own and you DON'T need someone to tell you how to do it.
If your intake is more than what you burn, you gain weight and you need to move your body to burn that extra calorie,,, unless your weight gain is hormonal, then you need to go see a doctor or a hormone specialist.
Guys, please try to eat a balance meal for example meat with veggies not just meat with bread and down it with a soda or beer... must balance the PH of your food (50/50 or close in Acidic and Alkaline intake) and burn the extra calories that you consume, either by exercise or hunting or.... otherwise your body will store that extra calorie in the form of fat.Last edited by ATI; 12-14-2021, 01:32 PM.

Most people have no idea how many calories they consume on a daily basis nor what their BMR is. I would also venture to guess most don’t know what a proper portion is. Since eating out has become the norm most have grown up on oversized portions of food. Super sized if you will. I remember going to Pappasitos for the first time when they came on the scene. When the platter of food was sat in front of me…..holy smokes what an enormous amount of food. It seemed like after that every restaurant I went to had huge portions.
