Definitely not a scam. Logged in to my PP account and there were the notifications requesting the above mentioned information.

Are they monitoring what people buy, now? And especially if it's related to hunting? They won't even let me close my account without complying to their request. HMMMMM!!!

      Anyone else?
It's a scam. At least the one I received was. I got one saying "unusual activity" I contacted number and they wanted to gain control of my computer. ha!
I looked up a Paypal number and communicated with them and they said it was a scam as they saw no unusual activity.

I trash any email saying it’s from PayPal. Log in to your account and then ask questions.

DO NOT log in thru the email!!!!

I hope you didn't login through the link in the email, because it is a scam. I got the same email, but instead of following the link, I checked my account via PayPal website and there was nothing wrong with my account.

Im interested in hearing their explaination. When I had an issue on a payment several months ago, I had no problem getting someone on the phone to help me figure out the problem and offer a solution. Hope you get it figured out.

Not true, it can start with http or https, on my computer it's https. Both will have the padlock symbol.
