Another shot placement thread

thoughts as they come to mind...............
1) how many of us ever shoot a deer looking away? - dang good shot selection and or hunting skills
2) deer hears the shot and starts turning his head toward the shot and the arrow hit the target before he can turn - results in no string jumping
3) excellent shot in very open country -
4) my guess - no lungs so he could have run a bit, but in open country - no penalty right?

He and his camera man stalked this deer on public ground and shot him at around 55 yards.

I'll post better pics when I get them.

That’s an unbelievable shot at 55 yards. Personally I would have the pin a little higher and closer to the front leg but man what a shot.
