Made it to the top of Old Baldy. I’m getting old. Saw this TBH scratched in several places up there. Not sure what it relates to unless one of you jokers was up there recently.

Jacob’s Well was cool. Sign said 8 scuba divers have died in there over the years. Wow.

P.S. the winery trip is NOT my thing. Wife wants to go so I figured I could gulp down some wine and make her happy for a bit.

Wife and I were just there for a weekend - the downtown area is cool for sure - we also did an easy drive over to Gruene to eat and check out their downtown which is also very cool - we had a nice weekend

Jacobs Well used to be alot better. No fence, no gate, no pay or reservations. When we lived down the road we would drive the 4 wheelers up with a cooler of beer and hang out. Jumping from the rocks was awesome. Head first and see how deep you could go.

Went fishing yesterday. Half day on Canyon and caught 11 whites and a nice catfish. Hit TriForks for some drinks and appetizers and home early. Today hit up a couple wineries and then Hays City Store. I really liked HCS, food looked amazing. We got a sausage board with pimento cheese, pickles and onions and japs. Didn’t want to ruin our dinner tonight at Trattoria Lisina. Headed out there in a hour or so.

Really have enjoyed this trip. Did up some spares on Monday night with the Old Smokey. Lots of amazing food and views. Set up a camera behind our cottage and caught a fox. Good times and I would recommend it for those that like a low key, foodie, relaxing vacation. Happy to share cabin VRBO location if anyone interested.

Good question. There were two of them, they just hung out on River Road. We saw them almost every time we drove down that road. Wife took to calling one Totes and made me stop to feed them. We’re obviously not the only ones as they came running to the truck when you slow down.

Those are the town goats. They're pretty popular.

The CFS at Hays City is better than Italian Food. Lol.

I figured they were known to the locals.

Won’t argue with you on the CFS. I could hurt myself on average CFS and theirs looked great. The Italian food however was awesome too. Then again, I like food. All kinds. The Old Fashions I got at the Italian joint was really **** good.
