What’s the best deck stain ????

I’m looking for the best deck stain money can buy! Highest durability, longest life span.

    Any opinions from personal experience?

    In for this.

I have used Ready Seal on my fence. I really like it but it is not a high traffic area

Got to do my deck after it is installed.

Only use oil. Dont use poly. Every stain wears out eventually...oil just performs better for longer.

I prefer PPGs products...they dont have alot of in-store choices. My personal deck was done with Sherwin Williams...I forget the package names for both. Both vendors products do very well.

TWP with all the VOCs known to cause cancer (in california) is great stuff.

That’s my answer too. Skip all that stain and work right off the bat.

Sorry for the hijack, but does Trex come in 2x8s ?

I ordered a 8 color sample pack from ready seal. Gonna do a few test boards when it comes in

I use Penofin with a stain in it and it works really well but have to re-apply about every 2/3 years. I use it on my deck and trailers.
