Could someone explain why with man on first and second and no outs and down one run in the ninth is odor swinging away instead of playing down a bunt to move the runners. May not end up tying the game but the end result was a typical strikeout by odor and then a double play.

Only acceptable time to bunt is in a tie ballgame with a runner on second and no outs in the 9th inning. Also there has to be something on the line. When you’re not going to make the playoffs anyway it’s just another game. Swing away!! Bunting is for pus*ies!
