I hunt year round and shoot a fair amount. I also use stretch bands and a 5# hand weight at the gym to simulate shooting. It helps.

Practicing at 75 makes shooting at hunting ranges feel a lot easier. No plans to shoot a deer that far.

True. I shot a nice group at 60 that I can no longer find the pic for. But practicing far makes close shots a chip shot

I shoot a couple of times a week all year. Not a lot of shots but fairly regular. For the last month been shooting most days. The last week I started taking one arrow and shooting one shot several times a day. I normally only get one chance at each deer so I want to make sure the first shot counts.

I have been practicing long shots. I really like shooting long distance. This is my pattern at 100 yards.

Went to compound in February from recurve. Shot out to 110 yards daily for my Alaska trip last month. It paid off. Leaving for colorado elk tomorrow and I havent practiced over 80.

Shoot 3 plus days a week year round. 12+ arrows. Have 3d targets scattered around backyard. Use it as a stress reliever.

I shoot probably 4 days a week on average year round. Mostly long range from 60 up to 105 yards.

Been trying to shoot 10-20 times a day for the past 3 weeks
Getting older and eyesight not what it used to be
Started shooting both eyes open and has helped

Confident out to 40 but practice out to 60 because I believe it makes the closer shots easier

                          Before someone asks

Got this little trailer from a TBH brother and put targets on it to make it easier to move and mow around
1/8” steel plate to guard against flats

Been shooting 2-3 times a week for most of the summer( 40- 50 yards max). Now I try to shoot 3-4 arrows every day. By this time it's pretty locked in and all about muscle memory and mind set. If I aint ready by now then I feel like I'm behind the curve.

I take 3-4 shots every night from random yardages (20-50yds).
