Question for the bass fisherman. What are your top Texas lakes for throwing a Frog?

All of them. It’s more about the action than anything. I don’t know how to explain it but it’s all about wrist action and focusing on the frog. Those suttle twitches etc cause the bite. I’ve caught hundreds of bass over 5lbs on a frog and at least half a dozen over 10 on a frog. It’s the presentation. My favorite big bass bait

Any lake at any time of year. Doesn't have to be hot. Caught several last week on a public lake when the air temp was in 40's and water temp in mid-low 50s. I will not go to any lake without a frog tied on.

No lie ! I almost caught a 4 footer on a Bill Plummer frog once. Jerked it from between his jaws at the last possible moment.
