I wonder if you mom knew about the criminal history of your biological mother. Good luck OP, following along. I agree with Artos, how recent are they? If it's recent, I would be very suspect as to why she's reaching out.

Latest one was 2013. They started in 1976, 3 years after i was born. She would have been 18ish.

I have reached out and told her i had some questions and that i had been doing some research before i just jumped in with both feet and i wanted to be sure to protect my family and that i wasnt judging her and we all have a past. Waiting on her response
