Tell your taxidermist to learn to make a form to fit the trophy
( taxidermist are getting to dang lazy these days)
Or have him call jet smith in kerrviile to make a form for him/you
                  To truly showcase that zila
I agree with these comments. Find a taxi that can or one that will at least make the form for it. I think or Andy at Alpha Taxidermy in Terrell (https://www.alphataxidermy.com/) or All Pro Taxidermy (https://allprotaxidermy.com/)in Lindale probably make one for you. Andy does some incredible custom mounts. He just finished a bobcat that is amazing.
A trophy of a lifetime deserves what you want.

Are barr hogs just escaped domesticated pigs, or do people actually catch feral hogs, de-nut them and let them go?

Yes, there are hunters out there that do. Some will mark or notch an ear to make it easier to determine if its a barr hog.
