    Raccoon proof feeders?

Trying to calculate my next move in the war on raccoons I have going on. Any tricks to keep them off of the feeders? They’ve broken open most of my feeder heads. Any experience with cones around feeder legs, do those work at all?

Big, and I mean BIG cones will work, but those little ones won’t. I know from experience. A varmint cage is your cheapest out, or you can go like I did, Lamco Low and Throw. Positively coon and hog proof.

Varmint cage is your best bet for your barrel feeders or buy a Ranch King Mighty Buck, absolutely varmint proof!

LAMCO is what I use alot. If not an eliminator spin plate is a must

Lamco feeders are coon proof. Eliminator plate can be added to your existing feeder. Slinkys attached to the feeder legs is a cheap deterrent that works.

Might have to try out slinkys and Varmint cages lol. Can coons tear up chicken wire? I considered using that but wasn’t sure if they could break through it.

Deer won’t eat it will they? I’ve heard of people using wet cat food and some kind of poison.

I've only had to replace two slinkys in 4 years because they got stretched out a little too much. At $3 each that's a heck of a deal.

They will floss their teeth with the chicken wire after they fill up on your corn

These designs are making cages obsolete.

check out boss buck shark teeth.. those teach em real quick not to mess with the feeders! We used a similar set up that we rigged up ourselves, worked like a charm.
