Conroe are fishing ?

Anyone know of any good spots to fish around Conroe? Will be bank fishing, hoping there are some ponds around a there as well. Will be there this weekend, any info on the good fishing spots is appreciated.

Cagle area would be best. Lots of roadwork on 1097. If no young ones, you can walk the bridge. Might get some cats with a popping cork and cut bait along the rocks on the south bank on bridge. Fish along the rocks 24-30 inches deep.
