Heat stress/stroke is nothing to mess with. I had a serious bout with it back in 2000. To this day, actually as recent as this past Friday I just can’t tolerate it. I almost passed out on the jobsite. I was in the sun from 07:45 to 14:00 without near enough liquids and could barely walk back to my car. I sat in my car with things going dark and back for 20 minutes before I could even attempt to drive.
It’s no joke.
Hope you continue to be on the mend. It will never be the same for you again unfortunately.

Wow! That's crazy. Man glad you got to the hospital and got the help you needed. This Texas heat is nothing to mess around with. Prayers up for a quick healing and that your kidneys return to normal.

Didn’t know this was happening but belated prayers that you shed this like a bad habit. Guard against getting overheated in the future because this stuff comes back easier than it goes away. Smart had a good suggestion that I follow now. Mix Pedialite and water half and half and sip on it all day in hot weather. It works !Comment
