Perch trap

Went to set some catfish lines today, and couldn’t catch my perch, so decided to make a quick perch trap.
Two tomato cages and some chicken wire.
Need to finish the entry point but I think it will work.

Will it be used for freshwater or saltwater? I know there are size restrictions on freshwater. But not sure on salt. I built a few a couple years ago for freshwater. But not like yours.

The perch I use for bait are hand size.

It was just easier making one entrance, no particular reason.
