We paddle a stretch of the San Marcos from Staples to Fentress. I have a buddy that owns property right as you come into Fentress. It's where we did our first few "overnighters".

I know. Will be some good floating conditions for next few months.

I love paddling down the San Marcos and blanco. Have made those trips probably a hundred times over my 8 years living in San Marcos. Great fishing along the way too

I really want to do the Buffalo River in AR someday!

You think the guad is nice. The buffalo and the white is really cool. There is an option of a 7 day float on the buff. We're going at the end of july and will do a couple day trips.

I think I could get my crew talked into an over nighter but more than that would depend on the first

We used to go down brazos a lot in Palo Pinto and Parker co
Pk - dark valley
Dark valley - I20
Or I -20 to Dennis bridge is a good remote one
Watch flood control amounts and it can actually be a great trip
