Shoot Potato cannons at birds near the airport? My dream part time job when I retire.

I think wildlife biologists typically need 2-3 jobs to make ends meet.

When I started as a deputy sheriff in 2003 or so I made $19k a year. I think I was the only guy in the county making less than the trapper at the time lol.

My first check from TDC was $1,600 for a full month in 2012. Shoulda listened to my Dad, he wore grey for 24 years.

They would have to quadruple that pay, and it would still be a pay cut, to make it worth applying.

When I started with the Galveston County Sheriff's Office in 2002 I made $12.12/hr and thought I was making big money at 22 years old.

Theirs a couple of gov. trappers in each county in the hill country. I know a recently retired one really well. His main job was catching and calling coyotes. Can't think of a better job, but I like to eat.
