I will take 3 months of winter over 5-6 months of 90 to 100 degree temps.

We been here 4 years now and we love it. We have had a few days of hot and humid, but the cool mornings are refreshing.

Woke up to 49 degrees yesterday here in Laramie.
Fall is coming but not til after we get a few near 90 days, ugh.

We need some nice cool, cloudy days end of Aug to get the elk starting to rut.

One day when I retire Every morning will be like that because I am going to chase temperatures across the country. If I don’t like the temp I’ll move on after carefully studying the weather channel. I really hate anything over 75

We were thinking our electric bill was going to be high in July because we ran the air quite a bit. It was $136.00.

Gotta love these rural co-op electric providers. Our service is provided by Southern Iowa Electric.

I know the feeling Mike. I can't work in the heat anymore. I am almost 69. The heat really zaps my energy nowadays. I was born in Dallas in 1953 and lived in DFW 64 years and 9 months. I worked in construction for 40 years and the heat didn't bother me, but now it does.
