Default Hands down!

If someone on here post a question, or asks for advice, and someone else replies with an answer followed by “hands down!,” does that mean the thread is over and everyone else posting is wrong? Just wondering

I really not sure what hands down means in this case.

I dont know. When I was in grade school the teacher always said "put you're hand down!". I assumed she already knew my answer was gonna be wrong.
Maybe it means the same here?

I think if someone replies, "hands down," and you bail because of that; it means you're gay.

But I'm just spitballing. Someone like that might not be gay at all.

I really not sure what hands down means in this case.
It means this the only correct answer or roughly, I just ended the debate so no need for more answers.

NOW you can close the threads, hands down!

Hands down.

Can't hold a candle to it.

Nuff said.

Any TBH discussion of food, hunting products, boots, tires, vehicles, ..... pretty much anything will have one, two, or all 3 statements in the replies.

Basically all three statements mean... Whatever I have, use, or believe is the best. End of conversation.

absolutely not, hands down. He has to get into this angry rage to do anything. If he can't get all worked up and emotional, he is a mere mortal. Now there is Batman, who is also a mere mortal, but rich and has all those cool gadgets. I'm pretty sure the Justice League would all agree that Batman > Hulk...
