Default Bill, no longer from San Jose

After all these years, I finally met our TBH friend, Bill, and saw his wonderful home in Montana. We drove an hour and half to meet him and take the tour of his home. We were blown away with his beautiful home and his 360 degree view of the mountains. Indescribable! Bill has been a TBH regular for many years and is one of the good guys!

Randy, it was great to meet you and your lovely wife and in-laws in person today. It felt like weíve known each other for years.

Randyís pointing to my TBH Texas Strong tee shirt. Itís the only TBH tee shirt I could find this morning.

Weather has been 80-90s and dry after an unusually rainy May and June. 4th of July it looked like the Irish countryside here. Not so much any more were we are- still green below in the valley.

I wouldnít post pictures of the mountains today. Thereís a big fire to the west in Idaho (Moose Fire) and a smaller one to the east in the Madison Vally (Clover Fire). Weíre getting hit with smoke whichever way the wind is blowing.,

Poor pronghorns, theyíre always eating the nastiest, most horrible weeds. Outside living room and deck. Truly in the goat species.

Weíre having the grandkids visit tomorrow for a few days, I need to Ďrun outí for groceries. Unless the local food store (20 miles roundtrip) has everything, it will be 85 miles roundtrip to the Safeway.

ÖÖ but to me itís worth the drive.

Weíre taking them to a stocked pond for fishing and to the town pool to swim. I killed another rattler on the road (RAMd it to death) and put it in the freezer so we can skin and stretch it. Iím thinking about a project and think getting my grandson a cowboy hat (hey- he was born in Montana) and making a rattler band for it. Hopefully something heíll always remember. Kinda like the Chris LeDoux song This Cowboyís Hat.
