Default Beretta A400 Extreme Drop Issue

Picked up a new A400 yesterday and I canít get enough drop with even with the 65mm shim. Beretta doesnít appear to offer a shim with more drop.

I canít shave the stock since itís composite with the KO system. This is the first Beretta I have had this issue with.

And yes, I have big bucket head.

I wouldn't shave stock. Might mess up something in that hollow Kickoff system. I bet the Beretta store could get you going if you're ever in Dallas.

I doubled the shim on mine, never changed the plate. Just opened up the hole some on the back plate.

Think I am going to just 3D print some shims and slot the plate.

Yep don’t know how far you are from I-10 W and beltway in Houston. That is where Briley is located. They will do free fittings or used to anyway

It is real easy to do and only took 15 minutes or so. I got the shims from Brownells, but you could 3D one.

Weíll, to my surprise I went out in the yard this afternoon and patterned it. Pretty much 60/40 with the 65mm shim. Figured I would be much higher with as much of the rib as Iím seeing.
