Thousands! Best thing Jack in the Box makes.

I started eating them as a kid and haven’t stopped. Best tacos ever at 2am back in the day. They ain’t 2 for 99 cents anymore though

I have no idea how many I’ve had. Too many to count. Every now and then I have to swing by and get a couple just to satisfy the craving

It had been a long time since I had any. But then recently a family member brought me some. What can make them extra delicious is to put slices of fresh garden tomatoes on them.

I don't care what I ordered. When I used to eat there I always got 2 extra on top of my order in case I was still hungry after I ate my burger. And every single time I'd eat the tacos first. They are like cocaine in a taco form. Probably a lot less healthy than cocaine though.

Been a long time but I used to eat the heck out of them on a college kid's budget. Haven't been to a JackinBox in a long dang time as a matter of fact.... and I drive by one everyday. It was always more like a crunchy mexican ravioli. A shell crimped all the way around with a pocket of meat in the middle ...and they'd try to slide in a slice of american hamburger cheese.

Best dang drunk food there is. How many over the years is tough to say. 10-20 at a sitting. Maybe 3 or 4 times a year over the last 51 years, you do the math.

Super Tacos. That’s what they use to call them. Had Plenty.

Then switched to Taquitos from Whataburger in about 1983

You could say I’ve had my share of their tacos.

They also have one of the best egg rolls you’ll ever eat.

Let’s face it guys back when we were young at 2:00am they could’ve slid a dead skunk through that window and we’d have thought it was a ribeye. But yea those little tacos were awesome and still are I’m sure. Hadn’t thought about those in years. Used to take about a dozen to the duck blind.

Been a very long time for me though. Are they still the same? Closer to 2 for $2 by now?

6 per trip, 20 times per year, age 18-30.
4 per trip, twice a year, age 30-40.

So roughly 920.

They are especially glorious if you ask for a side of sour cream, they will give you a daisy pouch that is perfect for 3 tacos, so get 2 for 6 tacos.

You will have a 100% chance of diarrhea and it is worth it. But only twice a year these days.

Definitely eaten more than my weight in them. JITB used to be the only thing open late night in our town. After coaching a football game on Thursday night and again on Friday or baseball Tue and Friday, I’d drive thru and grab 10 or 20 depending on if another coach was stopping by. A couple beers and 10 tacos listening to the post games shows or getting text updates from other games! Most I’ve ever ordered in one drive thru session was $40 dollars worth of tacos. “Yes ma’am, You heard correctly. I need however many tacos we can get for $40 including tax”. The lady thought it was a prank. Several of us were needing a late night snack after hanging out. 30 min later I drove a few other guys back for another $20 worth. We ended up eating over 100 that night. *♂️

Still a guilty pleasure. But not mine. There is a JIB less than a mile from the house and about twice a year, after she’s already in bed, Jennie will say, “Why don’t you run to Jack-in -the-Box and grab us some tacos”. She prefers “two tacos, no lettuce”.

I just got back from an Alaskan Cruise. I was having withdrawals from Mexican food so I went to JIB in Seattle the night before we left on the plane for Texas. I got a half dozen fried tacos that were better than the fancy evening meals on the ship. The funny thing to me was that they were playing mexican music in JIB in Seattle and none of the employees spoke English (They understood my Texan accent and told me where I was from). I guess the bussing program is going everywhere.

look up a recipe or youtube video for "tacos dorados". JIB is a version with suspect meat, but this is the BEST way for tacos.

Fellas, y'all are making me hungry for some chow back in CONUS. I've always been partial to JiB's sourdough burger, but those tacos are the heat too. I'd also kill for some Chicken Express right now too.
