MERGE lanes do not mean STOP!!!!!

I assume anybody around me has no clue how to drive defensively. I always assume now that they are on their phone. I try to watch as far ahead as I can. I rarely drive in a large town.

And.. A turning lane is a turning lane & not a pull out into the turning lane to merge in traffic.

No, I disagree....turn lanes make excellent launch pads. I use them that way all the time.
