    Tree ID

These trees are all up and down 290 from houston to bastrop. Wife noticed the vibrant color change and demanded 2-3 of them. This isn’t a great specimen. Just one I spotted In the hood.

Any and everything that starts with Chi and ends with nese is invasive and must be destroyed. Cut it down....

Get your wife some redbud trees. They have purple flowers in the spring and pretty colors when the leaves change in the fall.

That is not my experience, they are soft and cut easily

Get a red bud or japanese maple. Tallow trees are terrible. My favorite is red maple

Some areas even prohibit planting them, and/or require destroying them if found.

The seed casings will mess up your feet and paint job on any vehicle. The pretty in the fall, but are total crap!

Makes delicious honey. Despite all of its negatives it is a prolific nectar producer and is quite tasty. My bees love em
