So who here has eaten an actual Carolina Reaper? I eat alot of hot stuff and have eaten red savinas and ghost peppers and even trinidad scorpions but have never tried the carolina reaper till tonight. Before you say how stupid I am lol, I love eating hot stuff and trying super hot stuff. I have tried the lil nitro gummy bear which is supposed to be like 9 million scoville's and it didn't compare to a actual reaper. The heat was intense for 20 mins and my nose ran for probably 30. It aint no joke! Heat finally subsided after about 30 mins but the hiccups have continued for well over an hour! Probably the best flavored pepper I ever ate, up there with a ghost pepper but dang it was intense!

Can’t say I’ve eaten a Carolina Reaper pepper.... but I have taken a good bite of one and I couldn’t finish it so that’s why I can’t say I’ve eaten one, if you follow the way I drifted...
You are correct, they are intense and good flavor but not good enough to eat the entire pepper.
I too like the ghost pepper. My favorite way to use a ghost pepper is to cut it in half and put it in a jar of kosher dill pickles. It really makes the pickle tasty
