Built me a new Tab Prototype

New tab design I'm working on. (Bolt Together).

This is a:
DA3US_SW_B_Large
Death Adder/3 Under/Signature/String Walking/Bolt Together/Large.

I still have some minor bugs to work.

This makes it where all parts are easily replaceable.

I changed that three under tab at the top up some.
Didn't like just the laser etching for the string walking increments, so I stitched that top piece for better viewing. Much better.

Still all bolt together.

What I am doing is redesigning them, so they are all fastened/bolted together with leather belt fasteners.

The shapes, and sizes of all models will be exactly as they have always been.
But with them being fastened together with the leather fasteners, each individual part/piece will be easily replaceable.

The intent of this change is, to keep folks from having to buy a whole new tab if/when they wear out the nylon string face. If/when they do, they can simply buy a new nylon string face, disassemble the tab, and replace the old one with it.

All of the other parts are replaceable as well, but the string face is the primary goal.

Since it's the weekend, I decided to build a new style tab for myself.

I got my new split finger tab in yesterday. Preliminary results are very promising. I have to shoot it some more, but from what I done so far, I think we are going to get along very well together.

More to come later after I shoot it a little more.

Well, I’m a week in with the new Death Adder tab, and it’s awesome. I’ve tried LOTS of different tabs over the years, especially since Saunders screwed up the Pak-Tab, and this is by far the best one I have found.
