I respect both sides of the fence ... pellet pooper does make it easy but I sure admire the skill required to tend a fire!

I agree. I love my Pitts and Spitts pellet grill, and I still enjoy a traditional offset cook from time to time

As a borderline pyro, I prefer tending an open fire for everyone to stand around.
I also prefer being able to set the temp for a cook and still get all the chores done around the house instead of babysitting a fire.

I was skeptical before getting one, but I am now FIRMLY in the pellet fan category.

I used to rag on the gas grill guys but now I cook on one every day. Gotta eat healthy after you get bad blood work.

Because of that I guess I won't rag on the easy bake oven boys.

If I want easy I don't guess I'll get one. It's much easier to run by the local joint here in Wimberley. Their brisket ia as good as it gets.
