Default Traditional FSC Week 11

I didn't figure anyone else will be shooting week 10, so I am posting up the week 11 now to give folks a chance to get on it early tomorrow.

Here's an oldie, but a goodie.

Mark a water or soda bottle in 1/2" increments from bottom to top.

Fill it with water, and suspend it approximately 12" in front of your target butt.

Shoot from 15 yards (any stance), and 7 yards for the kiddos (any stance).

This is a one shot/first shot only of which ever day you decide to shoot.

Whoever drains the bottle to the lowest point wins the week 12 call.

Broadheads & Other Game heads Are Allowed

Rick

I shot this earlier.
I sliced the bottom of the bottle, which should have drained it completely,
but this downpour of rain is filling it up faster than it can drain.

Just kidding of course, bout the shot, and the bottle , but it sure is raining .

Rules Amendment:

Lets make this a 3 shot attempt, but you have to shoot all 3 shots on different days.

Once you pierce the bottle are you done? Even if it's shot one?

Naa.

You get 2 more shots to better your result (if ya want to).

Best of 3 is your score.

Nice amendment. Keeps people in the mix.

I'm reminded of US Sen Everett Dirkson's famous quote: "I'm a man of principles, and one my principles is flexibility."

Well, I'm not real flexible (in lots of ways), but I do like to see folks shooting their bows.

Never heard of him or his quote but that's a good way to get things done and not be offended so I think I'd like him.

Dirksen served for decades in both US House and Senate; was from Illinois. Has a Senate Office Building named for him. I walked all around that building when I was a Page in the House during the summer of '74.

I havenít joined the fun in a while so today I decided to play along. It was my first shot since shooting a tournament Saturday. Shot standing from 15 yards

I was going to shoot it this evening but the 2" of water in my shooting lane and the unhealed slice on my finger derailed me.
Maybe tomorrow. I thought it would have sealed up by now but that sheet metal made a clean cut.

I echo that sentiment! Hoping to get one crack at this before it's all over. But I have been out of practice lately.

First shot in over a week. Field point. It's gonna take a while to drain. Not a winning shot but I was pretty dang happy with it so . . .

If you guys would poke a hole in the cap, the bottle would drain a lot quicker.

Not a winner, but I drew blood. On hind sight, I should have removed lable, as that white square kinda draws your sight. (Not that I ever hit where I'm looking)

Good shooting, Mike! Glad to see all shooting!

Rick: It's your call, of course, but if there happens to be a tie, I would think it might go to the best try on the earliest shot.

Sorry Guys. Been busy.

tradtiger & swampghost have a tie, but swampghost got it with first shot.

Swampghost (Corey) gets the call for week 12.

I PMed Corey to get him on the ball making us a week 12 call.

If he don't have one up by (let's say) 10 PM tonight, then tradtiger will make the call.
