Tropical tidbits gfs shows a tropical storm or hurricane going in around Corpus, I’m sure this will change in the coming days.

windy.com has it hitting POC next Monday at 4 pm. From the looks of it, it dies off at landfall.

attention is turning towards the remnants of TS Amanda
from the Eastern Pacific which is now crossing the southern
portion of Mexico and is expected to emerge out into the SE Bay of
Campeche later today or tonight. The latest outlook from NHC and
guidance from the GFS and ECMWF models keep this system meandering
around the Bay through midweek. Both of the longer range models
then try to bring this system northwards into the west
central/central Gulf of Mex by next Sun

It seems apparent that most of TX will get some rainfall. Was this the time of year that rain spawned the Anthrax? I can't remember the cause or time frame.
