When heís motivated, this kid always goes all in. Plays football and baseball with passion and now this. Iím super proud how heís taking to this and fulfilling his commitments to all the folks that have ordered one. Heís not waiting on me to get home. Heís getting to it and calling/texting me if he has a question.

He'll have to use a sword instead of razor blades for the Texas flag!

Well, Joe got all the stars carved and sanded on one flag tonight. He had to do a second coat of blue stain on the Texas flag and got the red stained as well. Assemble the Tx flag tomorrow and outline and carve the star. Then back to Dremel work on the stars for the other 3 American flags. Hopefully heíll have them all clear coated and done by Saturday morning, then back to the lumber yard for more wood for the next set.

Been busy and havenít had a chance to post. He finished his first five flags. Iíll be delivering these to their owners this week. The ďprototype ď at the beginning if the post took approximately 18 hours to make. He started these five on Tuesday and put the last coat of clear on them Saturday afternoon. Reduced the time to make down to roughly one per day and they look better than his first one!

Heís still working on streamlining the process and is going to try to make 7 this week. Heíll make a lumber run in the morning and then get to work.

Very proud of the way my son has taken on this endeavor!
