Wife Got Her Personal Best Buck!

My wife was a happy lady yesterday. She got her best buck yet & to put icing on it,it was on our own place in Young county. We got the place last Feb & have been getting everything set up to enjoy the season. She saw the buck Sat evening ,but didn't get a shot. I heard her shoot Sun morning & figured I got work to do now. LOL! She texted me and said she shot. I said, sit for a bit. She texted shortly & said I see blood splatters on feeder. Told her you got a dead deer. Wasn't too long she texted back, I gotta go look. I pulled up to a Happy Lady. LOL! 1st thing I notice is bright red blood & lung matter on side of feeder. It looked like someone poured blood on the ground with the blood trail. The deer weighed 218 lbs live weight on the scale. It took all we had to get him in the back of the ranger.
So happy for her & my kids when they get the animals.

She originally told me Sat night it was a big 8 with a kicker on main beam. We have a pic of a BIG 8 on camera. Thinking it was him. I pull up to deer on sun & told her its the 9 with kicker. She is an accountant. I told her I have an accountant that can't count. LOL! She must have just seen the one side & figured it was an 8. She said when he walked out it looked like a cow body & horns high in air. LOL! She said her heart was a thumping when he showed up. I told her thats when you know you have a shooter!! I told her the main thing is you are Happy!
