That's a nice one. My dad hooked one in the tail with a crappie jig back in the 90's and at the time set a world record for 10lb test line. Not sure if it's been broken yet or not but he caught it in Lake Tyler.

I tail snagged 40 lb blue cat once it was the hardest and best fight I’ve ever experienced with a fish. Took a while too because I was using 12lb mono.
