San Saba Bucks

Put together a few clips from this last weekend in San Saba county. Wish we could get all the bucks on camera but it would take a much larger effort obviously. Please excuse the heavy breathing… it was that or some crappy music soundtrack.

Wish I could say it was mine. I’m fortunate to have a buddy who puts a ton of work into it and invites me out once a year. It is a very special place.

Just over 400 acres and low fenced but holds a ton of deer. This trip was to make a tiny dent in the doe and hog population.

Group of 4 not hunting all that hard but we took 7 doe, 3 hogs, 1 bobcat and a trophy black buck. Productive weekend.

Great looking place and animals. I’d be all over the tall 8 with g2 kickers and the last Blackbuck. I hunted San Saba until I was 18 and don’t think I saw that many deer all of the time I was there. Your friend has a great place. We hunted out off of 500.

Very nice and target rich! I was out that way back in January picking up a lab pup from some people who lived close to the river. Tons of deer and beautiful country.
