ROBERT, I respectfully disagree.
Does all boudin taste the same ?
Does all gumbo taste the same ?
Does all BBQ sauce taste the same ?
Does all vanilla ice cream taste the same ?
Does all boiled crawfish taste the same ?
Absolutely NOT even though each of the aforementioned food items uses the same basic ingredients when compared to other brands. i.e. Why is Stubbs or Head Country better than Walmart brand BBQ sauce ? Don't they use the same ingredients ?
Based on your opinion, wouldn't HEB boiled crawfish taste the same or better than your secret batch of boiled crawfish ?
Quality of spices, freshness, and the amount of each ingredient definitely effects food flavor and taste. I'll never talk bad about a competitors food product, as I let my customers decide based on their personal experience and taste buds.
Whenever you decide to try my chili seasoning, PM me and I'll send it to you for FREE.
Haven't used the chili seasoning yet from Blake, will next week with deer chili. But I will say his cajun seasoning has earned the top spot in my cooking, Holliers has been my go to for years. Looking forward to using the chili and fajita mix.
I have tried different mixes, some better than others i guess. I make my chili from scratch. It's really not hard to do once you buy all of the spices you need.
