I’m seeing a lot of chasing going on in Anderson county.

What are you guys seeing where u hunt?

Nothing here in Panola county. Bucks are just now opening up scrapes. The one I shot Saturday evening was still bachelor up. Seen 2 does this morning come running thru, but nothing behind them. By the signs I’m seeing, I think we will have a thanksgiving rut. And I put all my vacation time in before thanksgiving!!!

Most doe I see on trail cam have a buck within a couple minutes behind them. Tails are out or up. Lots of movement day and night now in Houston County. Seems there are new bucks every week for my area.

Bell county they are all over them, Foard/Knox county don’t seem to be interested..

Bachelor groups and bucks still hanging out with does on my place. Not seeing too much activity. Two juvies were sparring Saturday but quickly gave it up.

Watched a decent buck dog a doe up and down a drainage ditch behind our hotel in Cuero Saturday night.

Comanche county: young bucks running does pretty steady but more mature bucks still not firing off yet. did see a mature 10 rubbing the crap out of some small trees in front of me. He thrashed them pretty good and walked away.

Guadalupe County--several first-time bucks on camera the past week. Going for a sit tonight for one of the regulars.

My young bucks in Mills county are trailing. Haven't seen any older mature bucks doing much yet. It's usually closer to Thanksgiving before the bigger bucks get in the stupid stage.

Freestone county probably peaked last week, hitting back side now. Was out in Schleicher county this past weekend and there was really no activity yet (as expected). Had 2 different young bucks bird dogging some doe, but even they were not doing much. End of the month/first week in December is usually go time out there.
