    Christian hand surgeon needed!

Looking for a new surgeon these days is not an easy process at all! I have torn a ligament in my right hand and have a surgeon but I just have an uneasy feeling about him and I need surgery before I completely break it.

Does anyone know a great Christian Hand specialist at the Methodist Hospital on Fannin?

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks in advance!

Good luck on finding the correct fit for your situation.
Not that it matters I always just wanted a competent surgeon, his beliefs weren’t my business.

Maybe a non-Christian surgeon would be impacted by your witness.

Bother, I'm not sure what his faith is, but this guy right here has performed a genuine miracle on my hand and he has done similar successful surgeries on other family members and friends. I think he may be associated with Methodist now (in the Memorial City area). When he fixed me up, he was at the Sports Medicine Group associated with Hermann...
I'd use him again in a heartbeat.

It’s not His beliefs and that had Nothing to do with any of this! It has to do with a Prayerful Dr.!

Do a little reading on his web site... In my opinion, he's THAT good too... My wife worked with him when she was at Methodist Willowbrook and she's the one who directed me to him... well actually he did surgery on our Son-in-Law's hands before he worked on me.

look up Dr Mark Henry with the Hand and wrist center of Houston. he just did surgery on my hand a few weeks ago and I'm impressed with the guy. Be aware, he doesn't believe in pain meds so don't expect scripts for them after surgery.

you can see more about his pedigree here

A lot of surgeons nowadays steer clear of the pain meds it seems! I try to give my pain up to God!

Thank you for your information, I’ll definitely research him. How is his office staff or has it been a while?

i had no issues. they gave me the proper attention. he actually opened my hand up three times within a week, three different surgeries. each time i got a follow up call the next day from staff asking how things were going. He does his surgeries at St. Joseph which is right down the road from his office. I was there on Sept 9,13 and 17 for surgery and everything went as well as i could expect. healing up well and you would never be able to tell where he cut into my hand, 8 stitches across my palm.

I used Dr. Mark Henry as well, and the results were great. My left hand was messed up pretty badly after a dog bite that got infected. I was extremely nervous about the procedure since I am a chiropractor and I make my living with my hands, and it turned out very well. He was able to save my middle finger, which is pretty nice to have in my line of work and for driving in Houston….

Sounds like the same possibility with mine- even with the MRI’s and many X-ray’s he is pretty sure but there is the possibility of more damage!

Thank you for your valuable information! I like that hospital also!
