I've killed 1 banded specklebelly, 1 bluewing teal and 4 mottled ducks. Been around for probably 12 other bands being killed and those ranged from mallards, pintail, greenwings, wood ducks, tree duck and snow geese.

My brother and I killed bands the same day. I shot a specklebelly banded in Dead Horse Alaska and he killed a greenhead banded in Saskatchewan if I remember correctly.

I shot a banded Green wing my first year duck hunting 2013-2014. It's about like shooting a 10 point for your first deer. I believe there's a good thread from a few years back that has a lot of pictures and stories about bands

Hunted waterfowl since I was a kid. 30 years later, finally got my first band back in February 2014 during conservation season in Missouri. Blue goose. Haven't scored another since.

One big’ol banded goose. Years ago. The band was placed on it about 10 miles away at a city lake. He probably had kids feeding him bread the day before. Ha

I may or may not shot some poor mans banded pigeon on a hunt in La Grange with the Stolle brothers. I blame it on Dale Moser.

Killed a banded whitewing at a WWA hunt. Bird was banded less than a mile from there if I remember correctly. A couple others were killed the same day in the same field
