Well in defense of the trap it has performed very well and held up nicely. Just never thought I would catch one that size. I honestly don’t know what I would need to do to beef it up to hold one that size.

I'll bet is you make that trap 2-3 times that big in diameter, he'll stay the night.

The 4 g panel and height is plenty.

Been there done that. Started using trap fronts
To combat that.

I think you are right about never seeing him again. They have a good memory and are actually pretty smart, especially old boars nd sows. Good luck though.
