Keep in mind in relations to line pressure, how it effects the scald guard on the newer faucets and water flow of the hot water.

I have a 252’ run from my well to the shop. I have a company coming by to bore under my yard and driveway, so they have to use the poly pipe. What kind of piping do I need? Should I use 1” or 1 1/4” line? My well psi is set to around 60 psi. Flat ground and it will be buried around 8pm underground.

They do not. I had to bore under a creek for my water line, about 200'. I bought 2'' bell end PVC and they glued and pulled it right in. I wouldn't use anything other than sch. 80 PVC. PVC is cheap. Go with 1 1/2'' and don't worry about it.

Buy the sch 40or 80 in the 20’ end to end sections and the installation will go quickly. The sch piping has been around a long time and has proven itself reliable imo.
